Indiana Jones Adventure - Adventureland - Disneyland

Indiana Jones Adventure Closes For Refurbishment

There are some new walls up in Adventureland starting today. Guests visiting Disneyland will discover that walls are blocking off the archeological dig that is Indiana Jones Adventure. The bonus with this? Nobody will be looking into the eyes of Mara. The attraction is scheduled to be closed through April 24th. It could actually reopen on another day so be sure to check the Disneyland website and app for the specific day it reopens.

Since opening to the public on March 4, 1995, fans have been able to go on an adventure inside of the temple in Adventureland with Indiana Jones, even getting to see Sallah along the way on a video screen. Add to the incredibly immersive experience John William’s iconic music, and this attraction really does make a guest feel like they are in the middle of an adventure with Indiana Jones. This video was taken by Daps Magic team member Angela on the day before the attraction closed:

On Monday morning, team member Steven stopped by to check out what was going on with the attraction. Here is a look at what guests will be seeing for the next month:

The work being done on Indiana Jones Adventure is just one spot in the park receiving some extra attention. Other attractions, shops, and areas are also getting refurbished. This comes as the Disneyland Resort gears up for its 70th Anniversary celebration. The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration begins on May 16th and will continue through the summer of 2026.
