Disney has provided a peek at the progress that is being made on its Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern. The tavern is being built in Adventureland at Walt Disney World Resort. It is set to open late this year.
Walt Disney Imagineering shared a video showcasing the story of a former Pirates of the Caribbean Disney College Program cast member named Montse who is now working at Imagineering. The video also shows progress being made on the tavern and Montse points out what will be where when it is completed. Once the tavern is completed, it will expand and continue the story of the Pirates of the Caribbean. This will allow guests to be immersed even more in this story. An exact opening date for the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern has not been revealed at this point. The same goes for the food and beverage menu. Disney will undoubtedly release more information about the menu, any entertainment, and other details that will be found in the tavern ahead of its opening late this year.
