On this day in 2005, the Cinderellabration stage show opened at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It was adapted from a similar spectacle in Tokyo Disneyland and picked up on Cinderella’s story following the royal wedding – her coronation! Royal guests Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine, Belle, their princes, and the Fairy Godmother gathered in front of the castle to witness the special moment. The show was part of “The Happiest Celebration on Earth.” [20 years ago in 2025]
