Indiana Jones Adventure: Temporary Closure Announced

The Indiana Jones Adventure in Adventureland at Disneyland will be closing for about a month this spring. Guests visiting the attraction’s webpage on the Disneyland website found an announcement sharing that the attraction will close on March 17th and then reopen on April 24, 2025. The closure comes ahead of the kick-off of Disneyland’s 70th Celebration on May 16, 2025. The notice simply states:

Indiana Jones Adventure will be closed for refurbishment from March 17 through April 24, 2025.

Indiana Jones Adventure opened to the public on March 4, 1995, with a premiere the day before. Originally, it was known as the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Here is a ride-through of the attraction from 2024:

Indiana Jones Adventure Official Description

An Ancient Legend

Follow Indy’s footsteps into the crumbling Temple of the Forbidden Eye past intricate booby traps. Inspect carvings and frescos that tell the story of Mara, a powerful deity who promises great treasures—and vengeance to those foolish enough to gaze into its all-seeing eyes.

Brave Unimaginable Perils
Board a rugged troop transport and enter the Chamber of Destiny. Confront inconceivable dangers, like precarious precipices over molten lava, screaming mummies, swarms of giant insects, spear-throwing wraiths, collapsing bridges, slithering snakes—and a massive rolling boulder.

If you find yourself in jeopardy, only one man is brave enough—or crazy enough—to save you… Dr. Jones!
