On Saturday, February 8, 2025, guests at the Disneyland Resort got to join the Celebrate Soulfully celebration that is taking place throughout the month of February. On top of Celebrate Soulfully, the Fantasyland Theatre came to life with music of gospel groups as a part of Celebrate Gospel! From a little after 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the theater was filled with incredible, energetic, and inspiring music.
There were multiple different groups that performed throughout the day at Fantasyland Theater. They all led up to the headliner performance of DOE. The following groups performed during the day:
- KJLH Radio Free Voices
- The Singers of Soul
- Amazing Grace Conservatory Amazing Gospel Choir
- Lorenzo Johnson & Praizum
- Friendship Baptist Church Mass Choir
- Azusa Pacific University Gospel Choir
- Greater LA Cathedral Choir
- DOE
Throughout the day, the Singers of Soul performed between each group throughout the day. There were also other activities to enjoy around the theater. This included a Wall of Giving Flowers where people could write on flowers what they were thankful for. The Troubadour Tavern also had dishes themed to Celebrate Soulfully. This included the Fried Chicken Bowl and the Sweet Potato Casserole.
Celebrate Gospel – February 8, 2025
Along with Celebrate Gospel, there are many other ways to Celebrate Soulfully at the Disneyland Resort. Throughout the year, there is a wide range of music, food, arts, and crafts throughout the resort. All of these pay tribute to black heritage and culture. During February, which is also Black History Month, there are quite a few other experiences to check out as well. This includes:
- Live performances at Downtown Disney District and Disneyland Hotel in honor of Black History Month
- Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage: nightly during Black History Month
- Broken Spell Lounge: live music by Celebrate Soulfully artists on select days
- Hotel Lobby: A cappella group Sequim Dream on Fridays and Saturdays
- Limited-time menus for Celebrate Soulfully
- Black-eyed pea Stew with Hot Water Cornbread at Award Wieners
- Fried Chicken Bowl at Troubadour Tavern
- Sweet Potato Casserole at Troubadour Tavern
- LovePop: Black is Beautiful 3D pop-up card – Fifty percent of every purchase of the card will be donated to The Conscious Kid, an education, research, and policy organization dedicated to equity and promoting healthy racial identity development in youth

- Tiana’s Palace quick-service restaurant with foods inspired by New Orleans’ classics
- Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets with merchandise, fixtures, and other references to Princess Tiana’s story
- Sip & Sonder in Parkside Market is a Black women-owned brand in the Downtown Disney District that serves signature lattes, frozen drinks, and delicious small bites
- Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio at the Downtown Disney District fuses its authentic New Orleans roots with its adopted California influences

- The Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje
- Sam Wilson – Captain America
- Carthay Circle: Five & Dime features vocalist Dime and her accompanying jazz quintet as they perform hits of the 1920s and 1930s
- Pixar Place Hotel: Joe Gardner from Pixar Animation Studios’ Soul playing jazz tunes in the lobby
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: this new attraction takes guests on a musical adventure that tells the story of the next chapter of Princess Tiana’s story
