Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa New Lounge

Two All-New Concierge Lounges Coming to Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

Two new concierge lounges are coming to the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. These will add extra levels of comfort and additional space to concierge hotel guests at the Disneyland Resort.

High Club

At the Disneyland Hotel, the High Key Club will be opening this summer. This concierge lounge will celebrate the music and sounds of Disneyland as heard in 1955. It is described as “swanky and sophisticated, colorful and fun.” It will pay homage to the mid-century modern aesthetic that was so popular during the era when Walt Disney said “to all who come to this happy place, welcome.”

Looking around the room will be a beautiful experience. There will be beautiful views of the Disneyland Resort, including the fireworks in the evenings. There will also be beautiful views inside as guests look around and see how this new lounge draws inspiration from the enduring legacy of original and classic sounds that were heard at Disneyland in 1955. The lounge will celebrate the music, artists, musicians, voices, and also the unique instruments, bands, foley sounds, and history of audible magic at the original Magic Kingdom park. There will be a unique soundtrack that showcases the sounds and songs of the park heard by guests of the High Key Club. There will also be some prominent artifacts!

New Lounge at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel

There will be a second club-level lounge opening at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel as well. This is in addition to the club-level lounge that is already being enjoyed by concierge guests at the hotel.

The new lounge will be a two-story space that will celebrate classic California Craftsman design. It promises to be a perfect spot for “lounging with a good book, relaxing with a glass of wine or admiring the hotel’s Great Hall lobby below.” The lounge will continue with the hotel’s forest theme that is seen in the Great Hall lobby. This new concierge will be inspired by the giant sequoias. It will be located on the 5th and 6th floors of the Grand California Hotel & Spa. Disney teased that it is in the “treetops” of the hotel and creates an “aviary” where club-level guests will be able to relax, rest, and “nest” in luxury and hospitality.

When guests visit this new lounge, they will see that the theme of California Craftsman design will be continued. This will include the showcasing of columns and arches that are inspired by the existing lobby architecture. There will also be wrought iron branching details and beautiful hand-crafted tile murals. There will also be flora and fauna that continue the story of the sequoias.

This new lounge will be a stunning destination for concierge guests to visit. It will be filled with natural light during the day. In the evenings, there will be the golden glow at sunset that comes through the expansive skylights above. There will also be a two-story stained-glass door and a curved staircase that leads to the mezzanine. It will be a beautiful thing to look at and a beautiful place to experience.

The new lounge at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

Beginning May 24, 2024, club level guests staying at Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., may access the hotel’s concierge lounge, Creators Club. The new lounge celebrates the collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios with concept art, maquettes and attraction posters, and guests may enjoy snacks and beverages throughout the day. Creator’s Club

The Creator’s Club at Pixar Place Hotel isn’t getting any updates or refurbishments. This is because it is practically brand new. The concierge lounge for the Pixar Place Hotel opened last year and features concept art, maquettes, attraction posters, and other decor from the collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios. This is a wonderful place for concierge hotel guests to visit when staying at Pixar Place Hotel.

Concierge

Club-level guests staying at all three hotels at the Disneyland Resort are invited to see these lounges and enjoy snacks and beverages throughout the day. There is also a dedicated concierge at these locations.
