On this day in 2024, the Pixar Place Hotel opened at the Disneyland Resort. The reimagined complex now features an updated modern aesthetic, new dining establishments, and creative Pixar theming elements. The hotel first debuted in 1984 as the Emerald Hotel of Anaheim, later the Pan Pacific Hotel. Disney bought the property in 1995 and christened it the Disneyland Pacific Hotel. In 2001, the name changed again to be Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. [1 year ago in 2025]
