On this day in 1995, the Super Bowl halftime show was presented by Disney and titled “Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye.” The show was a tie-in with the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction that would open at Disneyland later that year. Patti LaBelle and Tony Bennett were the musical guests. Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood sought the Vince Lombardi Trophy amidst plenty of stunts from colorful characters at the fabled temple.
