On Monday, January 6, 2024, guests enjoyed the halls that Jack Skellington had decked for Haunted Mansion Holiday for the last time for the season until it returns later this year. The attraction, which opened in July ahead of the 2024 Halloween Time celebration, has seen quite a few changes in the last year. Most notably, it now has an extended queue and grounds that expand the story of the Haunted Mansion further into New Orleans Square. It also makes for a much more pleasant waiting experience for guests who are eager to visit “spirits from regions beyond.”
Haunted Mansion Holiday Final Day for 2024 Holiday Season

Transformations
On Monday, walls could be seen up around the Haunted Mansion as it begins its transformation back to its traditional form. The attraction is set to reopen later this month.
Also on Monday, fans around the internet reported that the Haunted Mansion Holiday would not be returning in 2025 until November 14th. This would be in line with when the holidays begin and not the Halloween Time celebrations. This, however, is not accurate. Disneyland officials confirmed that the attraction will be returning this summer saying, “We look forward to welcoming Haunted Mansion Holiday back for Halloween Time on Aug. 22. Incorrect dates published on the website this morning are being updated.”
