On this day in 1948, the Donald Duck short ‘Tea for Two Hundred’ was released. Donald is having a picnic and notices a trail of ants carrying grain. He decides to test how much weight one can handle, but soon goes too far and starts a war with the ants over his food. Some of the ants’ sound effects were reused in other projects, like ‘Sleeping Beauty!’ The sounds can be heard in the scene where Maleficent’s goons attack Prince Phillip.
