National Veterans and Military Families Month begins in November. This celebration began in 1996 to honor the extraordinary service and sacrifice of those who served in the U.S. military along with their families. Disney has a long-standing respect and admiration for military service. With that in mind, Disney has shared a new collection of military-inspired merchandise. The “Mickeyflage” can be found at select locations at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. This collection includes a T-shirt, a Spirit Jersey, a water bottle, and a baseball hat.
The items in this collection feature the “Mickeyflage” design. This is a camouflage pattern that Disney created with hidden Mickeys found throughout. This design is just one of many ways that Disney continues to recognize and salute military heroes who have given so much in service to the United States of America.
Those who are looking to find the collection at Disneyland Resort can find it at:
- Emporium – Disneyland
- Elias & Co. – Disney California Adventure
- World of Disney – Downtown Disney District
At Walt Disney World Resort, the collection is found at:
- Emporium – Magic Kingdom
- Creations Shop – EPCOT
- Mickey’s of Hollywood – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- World of Disney – Disney Springs
To visit any of the stores in the Disney Parks, a valid theme park admission and park reservation is required to enter the park.
Disney’s legacy of respect for military service members, veterans, and their families dates back to the origins of the company over 100 years ago. This is a tradition that continues on and flourishes today. Since 2012, Disney has contributed over $20 million in funding and media support to nonprofit organizations that focus on bringing joy to veterans and military families.
Please take a moment this month to thank veterans and their families for their sacrifices.
