On this day in 1999, ‘Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas’ was released direct to home video. The film features all of the “sensational six” characters in three separate stories. In “Donald Duck: Stuck on Christmas,” the nephews learn about unselfishness and the true meaning of Christmas. In “A Very Goofy Christmas,” Goofy helps Max overcome his disbelief in Santa Claus. “Mickey and Minnie’s Gift of the Magi” shows that the thought behind a gift is what really counts.
