Magnolia Park - New Orleans Square - Disneyland

Magnolia Park Now Open at Disneyland’s New Orleans Square

The transformation of New Orleans Square continues to move forward. Ahead of the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Magnolia Park has opened. It has been closed while the grounds around the Haunted Mansion are expanded to extend the queue. The stories from inside the Haunted Mansion are also being continued into the expanded grounds. A new shop will also soon be open at the exit of Haunted Mansion in Madam Leota’s Carriage House.

On Wednesday morning, the walls were down around Magnolia Park and guests could wander into the area. While the full extended queue of Haunted Mansion is not open yet, this is a step closer to that happening. The area is full space for future tables and the stage for Tiana’s Palace has been modified so that guests can watch from either side of it. If the concept art for the park is correct, there will be tables and chairs put in the area for dining and relaxing. Below is video and photos that were taken by the Daps Magic team shortly after Disneyland opened on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
