Guests visiting Disneyland, specifically New Orleans Square, in recent months have seen a new building rising near the exit of the Haunted Mansion. This is Madame Leota’s Carriage House. Once it is complete, it will be a new shop for guests to enjoy. According to the story being told, the stand-alone shop was once Madame Leota’s Carriage House. Undoubtedly, there will also be some nods to Madame Leota found in and around the shop.
This weekend, Daps Magic team member Angela stopped by New Orleans Square to check out the progress being made on this new shop. It really is coming together and taking shape. It has a roof. It has walls. It has details being installed, including what looks to be a sign. Take a look at the photos and video that show the progress of this former carriage house.
Madame Leota’s Carriage House is just one of the changes that currently are underway around the Haunted Mansion. The grounds where the queue traverses are also being expanded. With the expansion of the queue also comes story elements that continue the stories found in the Haunted Mansion outside.
