We are so thankful for you!

A Thanksgiving Tradition

The Thanksgiving Promise originally was shown on television in 1986. At that time, a young Mr. Daps lived in Iowa and saw this movie for the first time. It is simple but it is full of heart. It quickly became an annual tradition to watch this film. It has quite a few members of the Bridges family. This includes Beau Bridges, who also directed it, Lloyd Bridges, Jordan Bridges, Jeff Bridges, and Dorothy Dean Bridges. There is also a young Jason Bateman in the film along with Millie Perkins.

While it would never win any awards, The Thanksgiving Promise is a movie about family and the importance of keeping a promise and having integrity.

The Thanksgiving Promise

It Just Takes a Moment

This Thanksgiving, please take a moment to show gratitude to someone. It can be as simple as saying “thank you” to the person pouring you a cup of coffee. It could also be sending a text to someone that you are thankful for that you just haven’t expressed your gratitude. If you really want to go all out, maybe try writing a thank you note to someone! Whatever you choose to do, let’s come together on this Thanksgiving day to show some kindness, and try to make the world a better place one “thank you” at a time.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Wishing you the very best on this special day and during this holiday season!
