On this day in 1989, ‘The Making of Me’ opened at the Wonders of Life Pavilion at EPCOT in Walt Disney World. Martin Short narrated the film about how we come to be and are born. Short looked back at his parents’ history, from their meeting in high school to getting married and later having him, their first child. Animation illustrated the development of a fetus. ‘The Making of Me’ was shown until the Wonders of Life Pavilion closed in 2007. [35 years ago in 2024]
