Most Walls Down at Disneyland’s Main Gate as Work Begins on Turnstiles

Since being revealed earlier this year, Disneyland Resort fans have been eagerly awaiting new turnstiles being installed at the gates into the parks. That process is currently underway. Ahead of the arrival of the turnstiles, a lot of work was done in front of Disneyland’s main gates. This saw walls going up and work being done on the trees and their planters behind them. When the walls came back down, the planters were no longer around the trees.

This week, work began on installing the new turnstiles. Disney previously shared that things would get started on the west side of Disneyland’s main gate, and this is exactly what is happening. With this work starting, the rest of the entrance is now open and clear of walls. Daps Magic team member Angela stopped by on Friday, October 11, 2024, and saw the unobstructed views of the Halloween decorations at the entrance. Take a look below!

The work on installing new turnstiles has begun on the west side of the entrance. This is the only place that still has walls up. The work on the new turnstiles at the various entrances into the Disneyland Resort parks will continue into 2025.
