Madame Leota's Carriage House

Madame Leota’s Carriage House Takes Shape at Disneyland

Progress continues to be made on Madame Leota’s Carriage House at the exit of the Haunted Mansion. Recently, the framework went up for the new shop. Now, the shop is coming together even more as plywood can be seen going up on the framework. The plywood is being added on both the walls and the roof, making it look much more like a house. This comes as work continues on the new extended queue for the Haunted Mansion (which is now open) as well.

Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by Disneyland to check out the progress being made on Madame Leota’s Carriage House. Take a look at the photos and video he shot on October 1st of this new shop.

The story goes that this is a carriage house that once belonged to Leota. Once completed, it will be a gift shop that continues the story of the Haunted Mansion. This is part of a transformation of the area around the Haunted Mansion and into New Orleans Square. All of this continues the story of the Haunted Mansion as well as guests make their way into this classic Disney attraction.
