Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies continue to entertain guests visiting Knott’s Berry Farm. For Knott’s Spooky Farm, the band that plays country and rock music, plays on the Calico Mine Stage in the center of the park. They perform four times throughout the day, allowing for ample opportunity for fans to catch a performance.
Throughout the day, the band performs a wide range of songs. Some of these are classic bluegrass songs, others are classic rock. There are also moments of humor thrown in, has been a hallmark of the band for many years. This includes Krazy Kirk pulling out and putting in his fake teeth to make his fiddle playing better, or singing, or… well, you get the idea. The culmination of a day at Knott’s Spooky Farm is Snoopy’s Spooktacular Costume Party. For this, Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies are joined by some friends that include a couple of the Spooktivities hosts, the Peanuts, and anyone who happens to show up in costume! This is a fun moment that includes a cavalcade with those in costume and the Peanuts characters in the area around the Calico Mine Stage.
It would be very easy to spend a day enjoying Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies at Knott’s Spooky Farm. Each performance is unique and a whole lot of fun. There are songs like The Orange Blossom Special, The Devil Went Down to Georgia, Eastbound and Down, and a whole lot more!
