Walt Disney World Resort continues to monitor the path and potential impact of Hurricane Milton. Earlier today, the storm became a Category 5 hurricane. As it continues to steam toward the Florida coast, Disney has decided to close a couple of its accommodations that could be more impacted by the weather.

These locations will begin to close at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. At this point, it is expected that Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will remain closed until Sunday, October 13, 2024. The Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge are aiming to reopen on Friday, October 11, 2024.
