New details about the Magic Key holder preview of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure have been released ahead of the attraction’s official opening on November 15, 2024. Disneyland Resort announced today that Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders will be able to experience the attraction starting on October 21, 2024. Magic Key holders will also be given a commemorative Magic Key keepsake when they experience the preview as well.
Below are the details for how this will work for Magic Key holders wishing to experience this new attraction that continues the story of Princess Tiana after The Princess and the Frog.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Preview Dates
A virtual queue will be utilized for Magic Key holders to experience the attraction. The opportunities to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be on the following days and times:
- Monday, October 21st – 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Tuesday, October 22nd – 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Wednesday, October 23 – 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Friday, October 25 – 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday, October 26 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Sunday, October 27 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Tuesday, October 29 – 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Friday, November 1 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Sunday, November 3 – 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Tuesday, November 5 – 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Wednesday, November 6 – 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Friday, November 8 – 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Saturday, November 9 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Sunday, November 10 – 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Tuesday, November 12 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Accessing the Attraction
A virtual queue will be required for Magic Key holders to preview Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This will be on top of a valid park reservation for the day the Magic Key holder wishes to experience the attraction preview. Magic Key holders will be able to join the virtual queue via the Disneyland app. Here are the specifics:
For Magic Key holders with a park reservation that starts at Disneyland, the opportunity to join the virtual queue will be at 7:00 AM.
A second opportunity to join the virtual queue will be at 12:00 PM for Magic Key holders who have already entered Disneyland or Disney California Adventure on that day.
To join the virtual queue:
- Open the Disneyland App
- Find the virtual queue section on the home screen and click “Join the Virtual Queue”.
- Select “Join Virtual Queue” for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Magic Key Preview.
- Wait for boarding group to be called. If/once it is, a notification will be sent via the Disneyland App (have notifications turned on!). Once the notification is sent, go to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and check in at the stand queue entrance within the designated return window.
