Summer may be winding down and students may be heading back to school but there is still time for some last minute summer fun at the Disneyland Resort. This comes after a full summer of community activities from the Disneyland Resort. Before it all comes to an end though, Anaheim residents can still enjoy access to the Anaheim Resident Discount Ticket and visit the Disneyland Resort. This is a $69 day ticket for the residents of Anaheim. Details can be found here. It is available through September 26, 2024.
There were many other memories made for residents who live close to Disneyland Resort this summer. This includes the following:
- 2024 CHOC Walk in the Park – Over 6,000 members of the community walked through the parks early in the morning to raise funds for Children’s Hospital of Orange County. This effort raised nearly $2.5 million for CHOC.
- Family-Friendly Movie Nights – With tasty treats, fun activities and themed trivia, the resort brought a favorite summer tradition back with pop-up movie nights in Anaheim community centers showcasing beloved films like “Encanto” and “A Goofy Movie.”
- 2024 AIME Program – Through the Anaheim Innovative Mentoring Experience, 15 local high school students participated in a unique opportunity to connect and work alongside cast members at Disneyland Resort through a six-week summer program.
- Back-to-School Supply Campaign – a favorite annual event for Disney VoluntEARS, this year’s campaign generated over 8,000 school supply donations to support more than 500 Anaheim students at Orange Grove and Patrick Henry Elementary Schools for a successful start to the school year.
This was a summer full of fun activities and connections between Disneyland Resort and the community. In the coming weeks, there are plenty of things to enjoy at the Disneyland Resort. This includes the arrival of Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia. This brings seasonal fun for families to celebrate the autumnal holidays.
The Anaheim Resident Discount Ticket is an offer that the Disneyland Resort created to thank the citizens of Anaheim for being great neighbors. This comes after the recent approval of DisneylandForward. This will lead to better use of the land that Disneyland Resort already has with new lands, attractions, dining options, and more!
