Jon Watts, the director of Spider-Man: No Way Home is sticking with The Walt Disney Company. The director set a first-look deal with Walt Disney Studios for features. The deal will have Watts direct live-action features for Disney or 20th Century Studios. He will also have the option to produce.
Watts has directed all three of the Spider-Man films with Tom Holland and Zendaya. Before that, he was discovered after making the low-budget Indie film Cop Car. After the three Spider-Man films, Watts went on to write, direct, and produce Wolfs. He has made a deal for a sequel for the Apple film which stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
While Watts has been working with Apple, he has also continued to work with The Walt Disney Company as well. He is an executive producer for the upcoming Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew. He also is an executive producer for the Jeff Bridges series The Old Man from FX.

Watts told Deadline: “I’ve already had an incredible experience working with Alan Bergman, Kathy Kennedy, Kevin Feige and the rest of the Disney team and I’m thrilled to now be partnering with the brilliantly creative David Greenbaum. David has exceptional taste and deep filmmaking knowledge and I’m excited to work with him and his team to create memorable, director-driven theatrical experiences.”
