Holidays at the Disneyland Resort Details Announced

The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will soon be back. From November 15 through January 6, guests will enjoy the holiday spirit in many different ways across the Disneyland Resort. They will also have the opportunity to drop by (quite literally) and see Tiana in her new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. There will also be many other fun seasonal offerings including meeting Santa Claus in Fantasyland Theatre, watching the beloved A Christmas Fantasy Parade, or dancing along with Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party in Disney California Adventure! And let’s not forget all of the holiday decorations found in the parks and beyond during the merriest season of the year! Below is a comprehensive look at the holiday offerings found at Disneyland Resort for this holiday season!

Disneyland

Meet Santa Claus

This year for the holidays, Santa Claus and some other select characters will be visiting the Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland. There, special memories will be made with Kris Kringle and crew. There will also be cookie decorating, craft making, storytelling, and atmospheric music found here throughout the day.

Mickey Mouse and Friends New Holiday Outfits

As was previously announced, Mickey Mouse and all of his friends will be donning new holiday digs for the season. They will be found on Main Street, USA throughout the holiday season. There they will make magical moments that turn into memories.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade

A Christmas Fantasy Parade has been performed along the parade route at Disneyland since 1995. Each year, this magical parade reminds guests that “The spirit of the season will make our dreams come true. Memories of Christmas are here for me and you!” While the parade has evolved throughout the year, it’s dose of holiday magic is as strong as ever! This parade will be offered daily (weather permitting).

Believe…In Holiday Magic

The night will come to life with music, fireworks, projections, and then snow during the performances of Believe…In Holiday Magic. This nighttime spectacular can be watched from Main Street, USA, in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, near it’s a small world, or along the Rivers of America. In all of these locations, snow will fall and magic will abound.

The beloved annual tradition of it’s a small world Holiday will also be returning this year to Disneyland. Take a beautiful cruise around our small and be filled with the Christmas spirit of peace and love.

Haunted Mansion Holiday

Already open, Haunted Mansion Holiday will continue to offer guests Jack Skellington’s brand of holiday magic throughout the holiday season. A virtual queue is currently required to experience this attraction. It is offered at 7:00 AM to guests with park reservations starting at Disneyland or noon for any guests with reservations to a Disneyland Resort park on the day one wishes to ride.

Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour

Learn about Walt and the Disney family traditions during the holidays, find out about holidays around the world, see different details found in decorations throughout the park, and enjoy reserved seating for A Christmas Fantasy Parade during this guided tour. Details can be found here.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open to the public on November 15, 2024. This attraction continues the story of Princess Tiana, Naveen, Louie, and more after the events of The Princess and the Frog. It includes music that guests will recognize from the movie and also some new catchy tunes. It also has some incredible Audio-Animatronics to be seen while they are “goin’ down the bayou.”

Outside of the attraction, Critter Country will have officially become Bayou Country with two new stores. Ray’s Berets and Louis’ Critter Club will have merchandise that continues the storyline of Princess Tiana and the rest of the characters from The Princess and the Frog found in the new land and attraction.

Disney California Adventure

Santa Claus

Santa Claus and other characters will be meeting with guests at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. This is a beautiful location to meet Santa in the middle of the woods that is filled with holiday spirit.

Disney Festival of Holidays

Disney Festival of Holidays will be returning to Disney California Adventure. This annual celebration of holidays from around the globe includes entertainment and experiences that showcase the different ways people celebrate the holidays from different places.

There will again be Festive Food Marketplaces returning along with the Sip & Savor Pass to allow guests to enjoy tasting their way through the different holiday celebrations. Festive foods will be available at the Marketplaces and some restaurants.

There will also be entertainment to be enjoyed throughout the park that adds energy and holiday spirit to the park. There will be some returning entertainers this year along with some new ones! There will also be the upbeat Mickey’s Happy Holidays making its way through Disney California Adventure daily. This holiday cavalcade is a great way to see Mickey and friends dressed up for the holidays while at Disney California Adventure.

There will also be Disney Festival of Holidays merchandise to be enjoyed and carry the happy memories of this season home.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad!

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! returns this year to Disney California Adventure with daily crafts, live music, menu items and décor inspired by Latin American traditions, along with some Disney magic of course! Throughout the day, guests can get a picture with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, The Three Caballeros, and Mirabel from Encanto.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party will be returning on select days. This energetic street party includes Three Caballeros who are joined in the party by Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, and more. This is a holiday favorite for many guests and should not be missed.

On days when the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party isn’t offered, there will be instead festive street performances that celebrate the holidays and the gift of familia, outside the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park. This will include Mirabel. Check Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app to confirm what is being offered and at what time it is being offered when you visit Disney California Adventure.

Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl

Go for a spin with Luigi and enjoy his take on some holiday tunes in Cars Land.

Mater’s Jingle Jamboree

Mater’s junkyard has been decorated for the holiday season! Go for a ride on one of the tractors with some holiday music accompanying you on this energetic attraction.

World of Color – Season of Light

Paradise Bay will come to life each night during World of Color – Season of Light. This version of World of Color is full of holiday moments from Disney and Pixar stories. It is a heartwarming show that has incredible music, incredible effects, and is fun for the whole family to enjoy!

Downtown Disney & Disneyland Resort Hotels

Santa Claus

Santa Claus will be meeting with guests at all three of the Disneyland Resort hotels. From November 15 through December 24, guests can meet with Jolly Old Saint Nic at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel.

Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail 

Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail will be available in the Downtown Disney District from November 22, 2024, through January 1, 2025. This will give guests the chance to search for some special ornaments that are hidden throughout the Downtown Disney District. Guests will be able to purchase an activity map at select shopping locations in Downtown Disney and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort and then redeem it for a collectible holiday keepsake at World of Disney or Disney’s Pin Traders.

Snow Moments

On the west end of Downtown Disney District, there will be snow moments that can be enjoyed during an evening of shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Disneyland Resort Hotels Holiday Decorations

The Disneyland Resort hotels will be decorated for the holiday season. This includes a massive gingerbread house found at the Grand Californian Resort & Spa. Pixar Place Hotel will be celebrating its first holiday season with brand-new decor as well!

Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!

Goofy’s Kitchen will be a place to be during the holidays. Goofy and his friends will be decked out in their holiday best during this character dining experience. This is a magical offering at the Disneyland Hotel that will be full of holiday delights.

Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party

Over at Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party will offer a character dining experience during breakfast and lunch. It shouldn’t be missed as Mickey and his friends will be in adorable holiday outfits, presumably pajamas.

Tenaya Stone Spa

Get some additional relaxation at the Tenaya Stone Spa during the holidays. This will add an extra level of holiday comfort that quite often is needed during the holidays. In particular, for park guests, there is the Underneath the Tree Signature Massage and Warmth of Holiday Foot Treatment.

Limited Time Offerings

There will be plenty of holiday merchandise, food, and beverages offered during the Holidays at Disneyland Resort. This will include favorites like Mickey Gingerbread, spirit jerseys, ornaments, and more! There will also be several novelties available including the returning Holiday stainless steel tumbler.
