New details were released today about the Disney Adventure by the Disney Cruise Line. The bulk of these announcements were centered on Disney Imagination Garden. This magical promenade in the center of the ship will celebrate the stories of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. It will have a pop-up storybook feel to its decor and vibe. It will also feature the debut of Deadpool on the high seas on a Disney Cruise Line ship.
That’s right, Deadpool will be heading to sea for the first time aboard the Disney Adventure. His arrival comes after he has been making appearances at Avengers Campus at the Disneyland Resort and also Disneyland Paris. At Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure, he has been making appearances on his unicorn, during Storytime with Deadpool, and in Avengers Assemble!
Avengers Assemble! on the Disney Adventure
When Deadpool makes his Disney Cruise Line debut aboard the Disney Adventure, he will be appearing in its version of Avengers Assemble! In this case, he will be joining quite the combination of Marvel Super Heroes and Villains! During the show on the Garden Stage, Deadpool will be joined by Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Black Panther, The Scarlet Witch, Ms. Marvel, Loki, Red Skull, Taskmaster and more. Guests will get to see the best and worst that each of these characters can do during this stunt show.
Garden Stage
The show will take place on the Garden Stage. This is a high-tech state-of-the-art stage that has three-deck tall LED screens. It also will be equipped for special effects and other innovative theatrical tools. The result will be an incredible place to experience entertainment for guests cruising aboard the Disney Adventure. The Garden Stage will be found in Disney Imagination Garden. This space is described as the “emotional heart and central hub of the Disney Adventure that will transport guests into the pages of beloved Disney stories alongside their favorite characters.”
Deadpool and Avengers Assemble! aren’t the only exciting things coming to the Garden Stage aboard the Disney Adventure! There are more high-energy shows, character appearances and magical surprises coming when the ship arrives in 2025. At this point, these offerings have not been announced. Expect more announcements in the coming year ahead of the maiden voyage of the Disney Adventure. This date has not been revealed as of yet.
