Marvel Make Me A Hero

Marvel Teams Up With Wounded Warrior Project For  ‘Marvel Make Me A Hero’

Marvel Entertainment and the Wounded Warrior Project have announced a new collaboration that celebrates the heroes that surround people every day. These heroes include veterans, caregivers and WWP supporters. The collaboration is called Marvel Make Me A Hero. It is a digital series.

Marvel Make Me A Hero was launched in 2018 and invites Marvel fans to bring their Super Heroes to life. Most recently, Marvel Make Me A Hero: Real Heroes was honored with a 2021 Webby Award. It also recognized and celebrated essential workerings during the COVID-19 pandemic. This included registered nurses, volunteer EMS workders, doctors, teachers, postal workers, and service animals.

Marvel Entertainment and the Wounded Warrior Project will come together with Marvel Make Me A Hero that will spotlight amazing veterans and caretakers who make a positive impact in their communities. Marvel artists will also honor these real-life heroes by transforming them into a Super Hero of their own with an original piece of art.

Wounded Warrior Project has been meeting the growing needs of warriors, their families, and caregivers, helping them achieve their highest ambition since 2003. These true-life heroes need help after experiencing both visible and invisible wounds of war and WWP continues to stand ready to serve those who have served. Through the years, the organization has invested over $1.7 billion. This is done thanks to the generosity of the American public. The money is invested in programs such as Warriors to WorkWarrior Care Network, and Project Odyssey, helping them transition when they return home.

The first episode of the new season of Marvel Make Me A Hero debuts on August 6, 2021, on Marvel.com and Marvel on YouTubeTwitterFacebook and Instagram.
