On this day in 2008, ‘The Incredible Hulk’ was released. Although the movie was distributed by Universal Pictures, it was produced by Marvel Studios and is considered the second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after ‘Iron Man.’ Self-professed Hulk fan Edward Norton took on the title role in this reboot, also rewriting much of the screenplay. ‘The Incredible Hulk’ was praised for its action sequences and for being more true to the comics than 2003’s ‘Hulk.’
