The Country Bear Musical Jamboree now has an opening date. This newest iteration of the show will be debuting at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on July 17, 2024. When it does, guests will hear the Country Bears singing different Disney songs in the different styles of Country music from Nashville.
The Country Bear Jamboree has been a staple attraction at Magic Kingdom for over 50 years. Throughout the decades, they sang some old Country classics. The new iteration will bring some new familiar tunes to the Grizzly Hall stage.
While an entire set list for this show hasn’t been revealed, there have been some details shared about it. Already a portion of the Bare Necessities as performed by country star Mac McAnally has been shown. There also has been a video shared where Emily Ann Roberts, an up-and-coming country star and finalist on The Voice, revealed her take on Try Anything from Zootopia. Disney has hinted that Trixie might be taking some inspiration from this performance.
Musician Chris Thile and singer-songwriter Allison Russel showed off their take on Wendell and Teddi Barra’s sweet rendition of A Whole New World in the most recent episode of We Call It Imagineering.
Along with new music for the show, the Country Bears are also getting some new outfits. Today, Disney revealed what Big Al and Wendell will be wearing in the show. Guests also might be able to find them in their new outfits in the parks as well!
