On this day in 1894, Actor Paul Lukas was born in Budapest, Hungary. Disney fans might recognize him as Professor Pierre Aronnax in Disney’s 1954 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. He also won the the Academy Award for best actor for his role in Watch on the Rhine in 1943. Sadly, he died in 1971.
