Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort during Pixar Fest have the opportunity to see Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular. This is a show, often with fireworks, that celebrates the friendships and their stories from Pixar films. It lights up the night at Disneyland with moments from every Pixar film. There are also some really magical moments when Buzz Lightyear flies over the castle. The house from Up does the same. It really is a beautiful show.
There are several places where Together Forever can be watched. The Daps Magic team has three favorite places to watch this show. Below is a look at these three places, what the view is like, and also tips for getting a good spot. Check them out and then share where you like to watch this show at Disneyland in the comments! These spots are in no particular order as they each have their perks.
Sleeping Beauty Castle
Sleeping Beauty Castle is a fantastic place to watch Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular. This allows for a straight on view of the projections on the front of Sleeping Beauty Castle with the fireworks (on nights they are offered) behind. While it is a great place to watch this show, it also can take a bit of an investment. If you want to be front and center for this show, you’ll need to be there early. Expect to wait several hours. Also, note that this will be a standing area for the show. Generally, Cast Members will have people stand up about a half hour before the show begins. This varies, though. There are also people that are often walking in front of this place in a walkway in front of the castle. It is a great place to watch but it also has some drawbacks.
Main Street, USA
In general, anywhere on Main Street, USA is a great place to watch this show. However, there are some places that are a bit better. One of these places is out in the street in front of the Candy Palace. The other place is in front of the Main Street Magic Shop. In both of these places, stand slightly to the right of the center of the street. This provides for a good view of fireworks and a great view of the projections on the Main Street facades. There are also some other fun moments this allows for during the Coco section of the show. Generally, arriving within an hour of the show will allow for great spots on Main Street, USA. If aiming for the Main Street Magic Shop, a spot can be found within a half hour of the show starting quite frequently (except on really busy nights).
it’s a small world
The third spot that is great to watch Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular is in the area in front of it’s a small world in Fantasyland. This is perhaps the best place to watch the projections for the show. In fact, if it is a projection-only show night, this is the best spot to watch. This spot also doesn’t require a long way. Showing up within an hour of Together Forever is totally doable. Another perk of this place is that it is the only place where six “Hidden Mickey’s” can be found during the show on the attraction’s facade. On nights when there are fireworks, they will be to the left and behind it’s a small world so keep that in mind when picking a spot to wait and which direction to face.
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular really is a fun show that shouldn’t be missed during Pixar Fest. Pixar Fest continues at the Disneyland Resort through August 4, 2024.
