The Disneyland Resort has been honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice throughout the Memorial Day weekend. There have been special Patriotic Flag Retreats in the afternoon and missing hero tables. On Memorial Day, the Dapper Dans donned their patriotic best as they performed up and down Main Street, USA throughout the day. This is a tradition for the barbershop quarter on patriotic holidays throughout the year.
Daps Magic team member Roger spent the day at Disneyland Resort and captured the following videos of the Dapper Dans performing on Memorial Day. The following two videos were filmed in the early afternoon in Town Square.

The Dapper Dans have been delighting guests with the a cappella singing since 1959. They were actually the second barbershop group to sing at Disneyland. The first was Four Guys and a Girl in 1957. The origins of barbershop music goes back to the late 1800s. Since the 1970s, the Dapper Dans have also been performing with the Deagan Organ Chimes (these can be seen in the above Under the Sea video) as well.
The Dapper Dans sing a wide range of music that includes Disney songs, barbershop classics, and patriotic tunes as well. They also frequently participate in the Patriotic Flag Retreat in Town Square when the flag of the United States of America is lowered at the end of the day. This is a beautiful tradition that takes place late in the afternoon every day at Disneyland. Below is the Patriotic Flag Reatreat from Friday, May 24, 2024. This included members of the United States Navy and Marines.
