Critter Country Final Weekend Tour - Disneyland

VIDEO/PHOTO: Tour of Critter Country Ahead of Closure at Disneyland

On May 1, 2024, Critter Country will be temporarily closed as the area gets new shops themed to The Princess and the Frog ahead of the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Ahead of the closure of this land, the Daps Magic team stopped by to document what it looked like. On Sunday, April 28, 2024, photos and video were taken to capture this moment in time. When it reopens, two new shops will be found in the land. They will be Louis’ Critter Club and Ray’s Berets.

Below is a look at what Critter Country looked like on that day. This includes a look at the progress of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, along with the Briar Patch and the back half of Pooh Corner, which will be transformed into Ray’s Berets and Louis’ Critter Club. As can be seen, progress continues to be made on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. In fact, it seems like quite rapid progress. There are also a LOT of walls and tarps in Critter Country as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure does take up a lot of the land. However, this still gives a look at one moment in time at the Disneyland Resort.
