There is a new way to enjoy some magic with MagicBand+ at Disneyland. On the walls that currently surround the grounds of the Haunted Mansion (currently being expanded and reimagined), there are some magical experiences that can be accessed with a MagicBand+. These experiences are nice little sprinkles of Haunted Mansion for those walking by.
Recently, Daps Magic team member Angela and also Sent From Disneyland’s Clocky stopped by the Haunted Mansion to give this MagicBand+ touch point a try. Below is a look at what happened when Clocky put his MagicBand+ up to the touchpoint!
The Haunted Mansion and its grounds are undergoing a substantial reimagining and expansion. When completed, this will add more space to the queue along with a new stand-alone shop at the exit of this beloved attraction.
The legend behind the Haunted Mansion that this now haunted manor was once built by a prosperous sea captain. Now, years later, the mansion’s staff continue to maintain the happy haunting grounds. The new expanded queue will be tying into these stories along with some others. There will also be new gardens inspired by Master Gracey, Madam Leota, and the one-eyed cat. Madame Leota’s presence will also be expanding at the Haunted Mansion. Soon, an all-new retail shop will be found at the exit of the Haunted Mansion. This will be the carriage house for the mansion, which belongs to Leota.
