Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open at Walt Disney World Resort this summer and then at Disneyland Resort later this year. Ahead of the opening of this new attraction, Disney has been sharing some of the friends who will be appearing as guests float through this new musical adventure. This has included a group of Zydeco-playing critters and also a group of critters like to march with Rara. Today Disney introduced Disney fans to a new group of musical frogs!
These frogs are a group of critters who bring the jazzy sounds and complex rhythms of Afro-Cuban music to life in the bayou. Along with providing some great music to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, they look like they will also be a lot of fun! Take a look below at each of these frogs and their descriptions.
Along with these music-playing frogs, there will be some other fun friends to be found in the bayou. Some of these are friends who just enjoy being in the bayou and experiencing the music, rather than playing it. They sit back, relax, and listen to the music while they gossip about what’s going on in the bayou. Disney shared that “Gloria and Delores the frogs are best friends who love to observe folks as they float in logs down the bayou.” They will undoubtably be keeping their eyes on guests as they float on by…and then perhaps talking about them?
There will also be Lari the armadillo. This is a mischievous guy who has a quiet demeanor and also seems to always show up where he is least expected. He apparently also has a habit of “borrowing” things that don’t belong to him. These things eventually do make it into the right “paws,” Disney shared.
Disney also teased that there will be some really big critters found in the attraction, and that they might have an even bigger personality! As the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure gets closer and closer, progress continues to be made on readying the bayou for guests to visit.
