On this day in 1944, the Donald Duck short cartoon, ‘Contrary Condor’ was released. It is set in the Andes mountains in Colombia and had the working title, ‘Colombian Condor.’ In the short, Donald foolishly tries to snatch a condor egg, but the mother condor returns before he can escape.
