On this day in 1977, ‘The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh’ was released in theaters. It would combine three classic short films, ‘Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree,’ ‘Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day,’ and ‘Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too.’ The first two shorts were produced with Walt Disney’s personal involvement. The epilogue that tied the stories together was created based on the final chapter of A. A. Milne’s ‘The House at Pooh Corner.’
