UPDATED: Downtown Disney District’s Tortilla Jo’s to Close Not In March, But in April

Tortilla Jo’s has a new closing date. It will now be closing on April 7th. Details here.

Tortilla Jo’s is shutting its doors in the Downtown Disney District. The news came from an email sent to customers. In the email, Tortilla Jo’s says that its last day of service will be on March 31, 2024. The following is what was sent by Tortilla Jo’s:

GRACIAS POR TODOS

To our Tortilla Jo’s familia, thank you
for an incredible 20 years!

Our last day of service will be March 31 – don’t miss your chance to enjoy your favorite dishes and raise a glass to all the memories we’ve made together over the past two decades.

Visit us one last time and celebrate Tortilla Jo’s!

The Taqueria next to Tortilla Jo’s will remain open until April 13. This will not be the end of the opportunity to enjoy Mexican cuisine in the Downtown Disney District, however. As it continues its transformation, later this year Paseo and Céntrico will be opening where Catal and the Uva Bar once resided. An exact opening date has not been announced at this time.

At this point, it isn’t known what will replace Tortilla Jo’s. Daps Magic will continue to follow this story and provide updates as they become available.
