On Friday night, I stopped by Disneyland to film “it’s a small world” on the first day of it being in operation in its classic form for the year. After going for a ride on the happiest cruise that ever sailed, I slowly made my way to the front of the park. After taking some photos of Sleeping Beauty Castle, I was making my way toward Main Street, USA through the Hub and I noticed that the Fire Engine was making its way up Main Street at a very slow pace. I quickly realized that this was because it had some very special passengers.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto were on board the Fire Engine and making magic for guests as they made their way up the street. I started filming them and watching as people were enchanted by this magical moment. The truck made its way up the street, around the Hub in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, and then back down Main Street, USA to Town Square. Throughout the entire drive, it was easy to see how happy people were to see this unexpected group going on their mini road trip. Below is a look at this fun moment at Disneyland on a Friday night.
It isn’t known if this is a regular occurrence at Disneyland or a special moment. What is known, the people who saw it loved it and it made a lot of people happy. Magical unexpected moments really are special and a fun part of visiting any Disney theme park.
