Through the last 18 years of Daps Magic we have been very privileged to get to experience some very magical moments. There are a few of them that are even more magical and stand out from the rest. One of these is getting to hear Richard Sherman perform Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins. Back in 2013 at the D23 Expo during the Disney Songbook Concert with Richard Sherman and Alan Menken (hosted by Tim O’Day), Richard Sherman shared about this song before performing it. Just as an added bonus to this week’s Sunday Spotlight, I’m going to share another special moment with Richard Sherman that included Feed The Birds. In this following video, Richard Sherman shared about the piano he plays on in this following video. During this setup he said “I’m not going to play it for you guys, I’m going to play it for Walt.” After getting the chair figured out, he played a beautiful rendition of Feed the Birds.
