Work continues rapidly on the transformation of Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort (see where it was at last week here). Buildings continue to take form in the area where the AMC Theatres building was once found. On this week’s update it can be seen that the walls closest to the monorail track continue to grow. There are also more walls going up on the other side of the construction site as well, closer to the Disneyland Hotel.
With these buildings beginning to take shape, it is starting to be possible to envision more clearly what this area will look like in Downtown Disney District in comparison with previously released concept art. While this viewpoint is opposite of what is seen from the Monorail, utilizing the walls that are going up and also a tree that is still in place, things are starting to really take shape.
