Disneyland Resort Cast Members Get New Nametags for Disney100

Disneyland Resort cast members are getting new nametags for the Disney100 celebration. Starting on January 27, 2023, the Disneyland Resort will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. There are quite a few new things that will be arriving at the Disneyland Resort for this celebration. One of them will be found on each and every cast member. Cast members have been given new nametags for Disney100.

Cast members have worn nametags all the way back to the beginning in 1995. The nametags have evolved through the years, most recently with cast members sharing their own town on them. Now, however, cast members will get to share who their favorite Disney character is. There were many different characters to choose from. Some of them are well known, others lesser. Disney shared that cast member Erick Carmona, who works in Food and Beverage, chose Mickey Mouse. “He’s the original, and I have a lot of memories with him and my mom… I even had a Mickey Mouse lunch pail when I was a kid in elementary and so I just have a lot of memories with Mickey.”

The most popular character that was chosen by cast members was Stitch, Disney shared earlier today. Cast members will wear the new nametags throughout the year-long celebration.

What do you think of these new cast member nametags? What character would you pick? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
