Tropical Storm continues to get closer to make landfall on Florida, Walt Disney World Resort has updated some of its operations. It was already known that the mini-golf locations and water park would be closed. Now, the Extended Evening Hours have been canceled for Wednesday November 9, 2022. The extended hours would have been taking place when the storm is supposed to be making landfall.
The following update was posted on the Walt Disney World Resort website on Tuesday night:
Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Water Parks
Walt Disney World Theme Parks are currently operating under normal conditions. Please continue to monitor news outlets for the latest weather information.
- The Extended Evening Hours scheduled at Magic Kingdom Park have been cancelled for Wednesday, November 9.
Walt Disney World Water Parks and Miniature Golf locations are temporarily closed on Thursday, November 10:
- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park (Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed for the season.)
- Winter Summerland Miniature Golf
- Fantasia Gardens
- Fairways Miniature Golf
Disney Springs
Disney Springs is currently operating under normal conditions.
The Disney Cruise Line also had to divert some of its ships due to the storm as well. Currently, the Walt Disney World Resort area is under a Tropical Storm Warning.
