2022 Candy Cane Dates Announced for the Disneyland Resort

Candy cane making is a tradition that dates back to 1968. Made entirely from scratch, these are hand-pulled candy canes that measure 18 inches long when finished. The candy makers mix pulled peppermint extra at exacting (very hot) temperatures to keep the candy pliable while it is being created. Even the room is kept quite warm (near 100 degrees) to keep the environment conducive to making the candy canes. Stop by during the candy cane making process and the candy makers can be seen pulling and twisting the sugar into its traditional shape. The process to make the candy canes takes around two hours.

As has been the tradition in recent years, the candy canes will be made in two locations at the Disneyland Resort. At Disneyland, the candy canes will be made at Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen on Main Street, USA. In Disney California Adventure, the candy canes will be made at Trolley Treats on Buena Vista Street.

These beautiful Candy Canes are going to be made only on select days. Today, Disney released the dates for the candy cane making, along with details about how to get them on those dates. Here are the dates:
