Night of a Million Lights at Give Kids the World Ends Run

Give Kids the World is ending a tradition that began during the pandemic. Night of a Million Lights became an instant holiday favorite fundraiser for Give Kids the World. The organization announced that the tradition will end so that it can instead “remain focused on our mission to create life-changing experiences for wish families.”

Night of a Million Lights began in 2020 and became the nonprofit’s largest fundraiser for that year. The last two years have seen Give Kids the World transform into a holiday wonderland with lights bringing holiday magic to the location. Thousands of guests visited each year to see this beautiful site each year.

Give Kids the World has been a gateway for critically ill children and their families in Central Florida since 1986. The resort takes recommendations from wish-granting organizations and then grants these families with resort accommodations and theme park tickets to ensure these families have magic in their lives.

The end of Night of a Million Lights comes as Give Kids the World returns to normal operating capacity and its normal mission of helping bring magic to critically ill children and their families.
