Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness came out on top again this weekend at the box office. Domestically, the newest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie brought in $61 million. Internationally, the film brought in $83.5 million. In total, this movie has brought in $688.1 million.
The second Doctor Strange film, which introduced America Chavez, had the 11th most successful domestic opening of all time. However, its second-weekend haul was 67% down from the first. This was a little bit bigger of a fall than other recent MCU movies. Eternals dropped 61% and Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings dropped 51%. It should be noted that Doctor strange in the Multiverse of Madness had a much bigger opening than the previous two so had more room for the week-to-week drop.
