Cal Kestis legacy lightsaber hilt from Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order can soon be purchased at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This came after the Disney Parks Blog asked fans which legacy lightsaber they would like the most. This lightsaber was the result of that poll. The legacy lightsaber will be available on March 25, 2022, at Dok-Ondar’s at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
Ahead of the lightsaber arrival at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Cameron Monaghan, the actor who portrays Cal Kestis in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order took a trip to the Disneyland Resort for a full Star Wars experience. While at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, he also got to check out the Cal Kestis legacy lightsaber hilt.
The design of the legacy lightsaber is consistent with what is seen in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order when Cal Kestis acquires the lightsaber. It had already been damaged and was only able to emit a single blade. However, when guests purchase this lightsaber hilt, it does come with a dual lightsaber adapter. This will allow the recreation of the original double-bladed design from when the lightsaber was owned by Cal’s Master, Jaro Tapal, when guests purchase a second hilt.
Monaghan also visited Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers and met with the Gatherers and built his own lightsaber as well. Guests can book their own reservations to do the same when they visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
