Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid now has a release date. Disney has revealed the date and mermaid fans will have some time to wait. The movie will be released on May 26, 2023.
Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid stars Halle Bailey. She is joined by Javier Bardem, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay, Jonah Hauer-King, and Melissa McCarthy. The movie is directed by Rob Marshall.
The release date for The Little Mermaid was announced as Disney also confirmed that the remaining 2021 Disney movies will be released in theaters.
The movie will feature additional music from Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. It was revealed earlier this year that there will be four new songs for the movie. The original version of the movie was released by Disney in 1989 as an animated movie.
