Tonight Mickey’s Mix Magic brought the skies above Disneyland to life. This comes just days before it officially returns to the Disneyland Resort. In what was apparently a test run for the show, a fireworks show returned to the Disneyland Resort in a way the public could see. Recently, fireworks were utilized for the opening of Avengers Campus. However, in tonight’s test, everyday guests could see the fireworks and projections of Mickey’s Mix Magic. They started around 9:00 PM, right as the park ended its normal operating hours.
Mickey’s Mix Magic is returning officially to the skies above Disneyland on July 4, 2021. The show will be offered nightly throughout the summer. This is one step closer to a return to normalcy after the parks closed in the spring of 2020 due to the pandemic.
Mickey’s Mix Magic originally opened on January 18, 2019. It utilizes pyrotechnics, projection technology, lasers, and lights as well.
