Disneyland Resort Shares Look at Refurbished King Arthur Carousel

When Disneyland Resort reopens its parks, guests will get a chance to go on a ride aboard the recently refurbished King Arthur Carousel in Fantasyland. Ahead of the reopening, Disney has shared a look at what this polished-up carousel now looks like. It will include 14k gold leaf accents, vibrant details and beautifully bold colors.

When Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, reopens on April 30, 2021, guests will be delighted to discover a brightened version of the King Arthur Carousel, sparkling with 14k gold leaf accents, vibrant details and bold colors & each steed and hand painted using more than 30 colors. During the course of the refurbishment, each of the 68 horses on the carousel was repainted. The painters utilized more than 30 colors to do this.

In a video released by Disney, Imagineer Kim Irvine shared about the updates that were done on King Arthur Carousel.
