Can you believe that Walt Disney World will be celebrating 50 years this year? Earlier this week, some of the details of the celebration were announced, including the run time of 18 months! Today, it was announced that George Kalogridis would be joining the celebration as the global ambassador.
It was originally posted by Jeff Vahle, president of Walt Disney World, on Instagram. The post was then reshared by the Disney Parks Blog. The photo shows Jeff and George standing in front of Cinderella Castle before the grand decorations show up for the 50th! The post notes how Kalogridis’s career is coming full circle, as he started his Disney career as an opening day cast member at Walt Disney World Resort!
